Dr. Chinna Moulana Trust - 16th Anniversary
16thShradhanjali of SangeethaKalanidhiPadmashri Dr. Sheik ChinnaMoulana which is joint auspice by Dr. ChinnaMoulana Memorial Trust and RasikaRanjana Sabha was held in the city on 12th and 13th April. The First day of the function was marked by the presence and blessings of PujyaShriDayanandaSaraswati Swami. Shri. A.V.Krishnan, Executive Driector, BHEL, Trichy was the guest of honour.
The function highlighted honoring the senior Nadhaswaram artist Thirucherai Sri T.S.Jayaraman Pillai and Thavil artist MannarguriSri.M. Dhakshinamurthy Pillai with a citation and purse of Rs.10,000.
6 Nadhaswarm and 3 Thavil instruments were presented to deserving students with Pujyashri Swami’s blessings under the BHEL CSR scheme.
During PujyaShri Swami’s speech, he enlightened the toughness of learning Nadhaswaram and Thavil instruments and told the importance and nuances of Nadhaswaram music. His blessings were seeked by Trichiets on the occasion. PujyaShri Swami also applauded the good work which is being carried out by the trust, managed by Kasim-Babu bothers.

This year, Dr.Chinnamoulana Memorial Trust initiated the advanced training course to Nadhaswaram and Thavil students under the name of ‘PADHDHATHI’in which 5 Nadhaswaram students and 5 Thavil students are getting trained under renowned teachers. This entire project is being supported by BHEL CSR scheme.

Dr. Bombay Jayashree enthralled the audience with her musical homage to the Nadaswaram Maestro.
The entire audience basked in the spiritual vibration and soaked in theMusic Concert.
